Silicon could be argued to be one of the most vital chemical elements in modern society due to its use in integrated circuitry, but it is also one of the most common elements in the earth’s crust. One of its forms more familiar to the average human is Silicon Dioxide, or silica, one of the principal components of sand. Because of this, and in the style of “a CPU is literally a rock that we tricked into thinking”, I often choose to characterize microprocessors as “thinking sand” to remind myself of the ludicrousness of what the human race has achievemented so far.

I make the thinking sand think.

I make the thinking sand think, so thinking people can think more thoughtfully by thinking with the thinking sand.

I make the thinking sand think to think thoughts that I think can’t be thought by myself alone.

I make the thinking sand think so thoughts that are thought can be thought and re-thought through time and space.

I make the thinking sand think so that thoughts that haven’t been thought before can be thought about thoughts that haven’t been thought since long ago.

I make the thinking sand think so those of us about whom it was thought didn’t have the chance to have many thoughtful thoughts can think their thoughts and their thoughts can be thought about thoughtfully by others without fear of of reprisal.

I make the thinking sand think so the next generation can think even more thoughts thoughtfully than I thought could be ever be thought.

I make the thinking sand think.
